Mobile Automation Engineer

Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Mobile Automation Engineer with 5 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining mobile test automation frameworks. The ideal candidate should be proficient with Appium, BDD frameworks like Cucumber, and have working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Exposure to CI/CD tools, Jira, and defect management tools is essential. Prior experience in the retail domain is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop mobile automation test scripts using Appium for Android and/or iOS platforms.
Implement BDD test frameworks using Cucumber in collaboration with QA and development teams.
Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to support continuous testing and delivery.
Report, track, and manage defects using tools such as Jira, AIO, or similar.
Ensure test coverage across various mobile devices using any one Device Cloud Tool such as BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or AWS Device Farm (preferred: mention the one used in your current/previous project).
Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality releases.
Contribute to test strategy, planning, and documentation.

Required Skills:
Strong experience in Mobile Automation testing (Appium).
Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
Good understanding of Agile/Scrum practices.
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
Proficient in AIO or similar defect/test management tools.
Working knowledge of Jira for task and bug tracking.
Experience with any Cloud Device Testing Tool such as BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or AWS Device Farm.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Good to Have:
Prior experience working in the Retail domain.
Knowledge of performance or security testing tools.
