Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced professional to implement and manage Observability & Monitoring (O&M) solutions using OCI’s native tools and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
The role involves configuring and managing cloud-native metrics, alarms, and dashboards in OCI Monitoring and Logging, utilising Logging Analytics for troubleshooting, and monitoring application performance and user experience through APM.
You will be responsible for patching, vulnerability detection, and automation through Shell/Python scripting. The role also includes implementing governance policies, optimising cloud spend, and conducting capacity planning using OCI tools.
Additionally, you will configure and support security posture management by applying Cloud Guard controls and IAM policies, integrating third-party tools via APIs, SDKs, and service connectors, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to share best practices and assist customers in their observability journey.
Knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) is required for database monitoring, administration, and migration of EM infrastructure.
