Key Responsibilities
Evaluate hardware performance of networking devices including: Wi-Fi routers
Gateways
CPE products
Embedded networking platforms
Perform hardware benchmarking and performance analysis including: CPU utilization
Memory performance
Wi-Fi radio performance
Ethernet throughput
SoC performance
Conduct throughput, latency, and stress testing on router and CPE platforms.
Perform Wi-Fi performance testing across: 2.4 GHz
5 GHz
6 GHz frequency bands
Analyze wireless performance including: RF behavior
Roaming
Band steering
Mesh performance
Identify performance bottlenecks and recommend hardware/software optimizations.
Collaborate with hardware, firmware, QA teams, and vendors to resolve performance issues.
Develop automated performance tests, reports, and dashboards.
Analyze system logs, CPU/memory behavior, and network performance metrics.
Perform network traffic analysis and troubleshooting.
Work with embedded Linux platforms and networking solutions.
Support product quality improvement through performance validation.
