Redis GemFire Engineer

Job Summary
BHR Code is hiring an experienced Redis & GemFire Engineer with strong expertise in in-memory database technologies, cloud environments, automation pipelines, and enterprise application support.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Redis, GemFire, GitLab Pipelines, Terraform, Ansible, AWS/Azure platforms, and modern infrastructure automation practices.

Role Overview
The Redis & GemFire Engineer will be responsible for managing, supporting, and optimising high-performance in-memory data platforms used in enterprise environments.
The role requires expertise in distributed caching technologies, automation frameworks, cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and operational troubleshooting.
The candidate will collaborate with development, cloud, and infrastructure teams to ensure scalable, reliable, and highly available data services.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and support Redis and GemFire environments.
Configure, maintain, and optimise in-memory data platforms.
Perform troubleshooting and performance analysis.
Support application teams with caching and data platform requirements.
Manage deployment pipelines using GitLab.
Automate infrastructure activities using Terraform and Ansible.
Support cloud-based environments across AWS/Azure.
Monitor platform health, availability, and performance.
Implement operational best practices for reliability and scalability.
Participate in incident management and production support activities.
Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

Mandatory Skills
7–12+ years of experience in enterprise technology environments.
Strong experience with:
