IBM DataPower Engineer

Job Summary
BHR Code is hiring experienced IBM DataPower Engineers with strong expertise in enterprise API gateway solutions, integration platforms, automation pipelines, and cloud environments.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with IBM DataPower, Event Gateways, GitLab Pipelines, Terraform, Ansible, and AWS while supporting enterprise integration ecosystems.

Role Overview
The IBM DataPower Engineer will be responsible for managing, configuring, and supporting enterprise API gateway and integration environments.
The role requires expertise in IBM DataPower administration, API security, deployment automation, troubleshooting, and integration platform support.
The candidate will work with application, cloud, and infrastructure teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable enterprise integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and support IBM DataPower gateway environments.
Configure and maintain DataPower services and policies.
Support enterprise API gateway operations.
Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for integration issues.
Manage API security configurations and gateway policies.
Support deployment pipelines using GitLab.
Automate infrastructure activities using Terraform and Ansible.
Integrate DataPower solutions with cloud environments.
Monitor system performance and availability.
Support production incidents and operational activities.
Collaborate with application and middleware teams.
Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

Mandatory Skills
7–12+ years of experience in enterprise integration environments.
Strong experience with:
