Distributed Systems Engineer

Job Summary
BHR Code is hiring an experienced Distributed Systems Engineer with strong expertise in enterprise infrastructure leadership, distributed systems, storage platforms, virtualisation, data protection, and infrastructure operations.
The ideal candidate should have extensive experience managing complex infrastructure environments involving SAN/NAS, Dell/Cisco servers, Nutanix AHV, VMware, Linux, Windows, ServiceNow, capacity planning, patch management, and root cause analysis.

Role Overview
The Distributed Systems Engineer will lead and manage enterprise distributed infrastructure environments, ensuring availability, scalability, performance, and operational stability.
This role requires deep technical expertise across compute, storage, virtualisation, operating systems, and enterprise infrastructure management.
The candidate will work with cross-functional technology teams to design improvements, resolve complex issues, optimise capacity, and maintain highly reliable infrastructure platforms.

Key Responsibilities
Lead enterprise distributed systems operations and engineering activities.
Manage complex infrastructure environments across compute, storage, and virtualization platforms.
Support SAN/NAS storage environments and data protection solutions.
Manage Dell and Cisco server infrastructure.
Administer Nutanix AHV and VMware virtualization platforms.
Support Linux and Windows server environments.
Perform capacity planning and infrastructure optimization.
Lead patch planning and infrastructure maintenance activities.
Manage incidents, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
Work with ServiceNow for operational workflows.
Drive infrastructure reliability and performance improvements.
Collaborate with multiple technology teams and stakeholders.
Provide technical leadership for enterprise infrastructure initiatives.
Maintain architecture documentation and operational standards.
