Senior SAP ABAP MDG Consultant

We are looking for a Senior SAP ABAP MDG Consultant with 11–13 years of total IT experience and 8–10 years of specialized experience in SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) and ABAP development. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in end-to-end SAP MDG implementations across different domains (Vendor, Material, Finance), deep understanding of SAP technical components, and strong skills in development, customization, and integration.

Key Responsibilities:
SAP MDG Expertise:
Lead and support SAP MDG implementations and configurations (BP, FI, MM).
Design and customize data models, UI models, workflows, validations, and derivations using BRF+.
Develop and manage consolidation and mass processing solutions.
Work on key mapping, value mapping, and DRF (Data Replication Framework) configurations.
Experience with DQM (Data Quality Management) including rule setup, function calls, and validations.
ABAP Development:
Develop and maintain ABAP reports (ALV, classical, interactive), SmartForms, and Adobe Forms.
Work with BAPIs, RFCs, Enhancements (User Exits, Customer Exits), and Module Pool programming.
Develop and manage BDC and LSMW for data uploads.
Customize and extend standard SAP functionality using BADIs and Enhancements.
Integration & Support:
Design and develop APIs and interfaces between SAP and non-SAP systems.
Work on SPAU/SPDD activities during upgrades.
Provide technical leadership in issue resolution and system optimization.
Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders on requirements and solutions.

SAP MDG: Custom data models, UI configurations, workflows, BRF+, DQM, DRF, Consolidation, Mass Processing
ABAP: Reports (ALV/Classical), BDC, LSMW, SmartForms, Adobe Forms, Enhancements, BAPIs, RFCs, BADIs
Tools: FPM, Web Dynpro, BRF+, SAP Scripts
Modules Worked On: MM, SD, FI, CRM
Other Skills: SAP HANA upgrade support (SPAU/SPDD), portal integration, CRM ABAP

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
SAP certifications in ABAP or MDG (preferred).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and client-facing capabilities.
Experience in leading teams and mentoring junior developers.

Nice to Have:
Exposure to SAP S/4HANA
Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA
