Senior SAP FICO Consultant – CA Qualified

Job Summary:

BHR Code is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior SAP FICO Consultant with a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification to lead and support SAP finance initiatives across a complex Engineer-to-Order (ETO) manufacturing environment. The candidate will play a critical role in designing, configuring, and deploying robust SAP FICO solutions that align with strategic financial and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end SAP FICO implementations, enhancements, upgrades, and ongoing support.
Analyze complex business requirements and deliver scalable SAP finance solutions.
Configure and customize core FICO modules: GL, AP, AR, AA, CO-PA, CO-PC, and Material Ledger.
Integrate SAP FICO with modules like MM, SD, PP, and PS to support seamless ETO workflows.
Work closely with finance, project, and production teams to improve costing, budgeting, and reporting processes.
Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and internal audit requirements within SAP.
Provide thought leadership on SAP S/4HANA Finance roadmap, capabilities, and implementation best practices.
Conduct training sessions, workshops, and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Create and maintain detailed functional specifications, test scripts, and configuration documentation.
Support post-implementation stabilization and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
Chartered Accountant (CA) certification – mandatory
7+ years of SAP FICO implementation experience
Hands-on experience with at least 3 full-cycle SAP projects in ETO manufacturing
In-depth understanding of project-based accounting, WBS structures, and ETO costing
Experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance and FICO integration with other SAP modules
Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional project teams

Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology
Familiarity with IFRS and Indian GAAP in SAP context
Experience with Fiori apps, automation tools, and reporting platforms like SAP BW or SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
