Senior SAP MM Consultant – ETO Manufacturing

Job Summary:

BHR Code is seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP MM Consultant with a strong engineering foundation and in-depth expertise in Engineer-to-Order (ETO) manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will lead the design, configuration, and optimization of SAP MM processes to support complex procurement and inventory operations. This role requires a combination of hands-on SAP implementation experience, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to manage project-specific procurement strategies in a dynamic manufacturing setup.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the SAP MM module implementation, enhancement, and support for ETO manufacturing projects.
Configure and customize SAP MM components, including:
Purchasing
Inventory Management
Material Valuation
Material Master Data

Collaborate with cross-functional SAP teams (FICO, PP, SD, PS) to ensure effective system integration and smooth data flow.
Define and execute project-specific procurement strategies, including subcontracting, third-party procurement, and services.
Manage and maintain vendor master data, source lists, and info records.
Support and improve Material Requirement Planning (MRP) processes and WBS-linked procurement.
Ensure system compliance with audit, internal control, and GST requirements.
Conduct business workshops, user training sessions, and UAT with stakeholders.
Prepare detailed functional specifications, test cases, training documentation, and user manuals.
Provide post-go-live support, drive continuous process improvements, and assist in change management initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
B.Tech./M.Tech. in Engineering or a related technical field.
Minimum 7 years of hands-on SAP MM implementation experience.
Minimum 3 full-cycle implementations in ETO manufacturing environments.
Strong understanding of:
ETO procurement models
WBS-based material planning and purchasing
Project-centric inventory and valuation
Solid integration experience with FICO, PP, SD, and PS modules.
Experience working with SAP S/4HANA environments (preferred).
Excellent analytical, communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology.
Experience with SAP Fiori, Ariba, or SAP SRM.
Exposure to contract management, vendor evaluation, and GST compliance.
