✅ Key Responsibilities
Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot MS SQL Server databases (on-premise and cloud).
Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and index management.
Handle database security, access controls, disaster recovery, and backups.
Deploy, configure, and manage Azure SQL Database, SQL Managed Instances, and Cosmos DB.
Collaborate with development and DevOps teams for database integration and support.
Implement best practices for database monitoring, health checks, and automation.
🎯 Must-Have Skills
7–8 years of strong hands-on experience as a SQL Server DBA.
Proficiency in Azure-based database solutions – Azure SQL, Managed Instances, and Cosmos DB.
Deep understanding of backup & recovery, replication, clustering, and HA/DR solutions.
Solid experience in query tuning, index strategies, and resource optimization.
Scripting skills (T-SQL, PowerShell) for automation.
💼 Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Database Administrator Associate) are a plus.
Experience in hybrid cloud environments.
Exposure to DevOps, monitoring tools, and CI/CD pipelines for database deployment.
