Web Automation Engineer

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Web Automation Engineer with 5 years of hands-on experience in automation testing to join our dynamic QA team. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in Selenium, TestNG, and BDD frameworks like Cucumber, with working knowledge of CI/CD tools and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience with AIO and Jira for defect management and test reporting is essential. Exposure to the Retail domain is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain robust web automation test scripts using Selenium and TestNG
Implement and execute BDD test scenarios using Cucumber
Integrate test cases into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git, etc.
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers in an Agile/Scrum environment
Utilize Maven for project build and dependency management
Track and manage test cases and defects using AIO and Jira
Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
Provide detailed and timely status updates and raise blockers as needed
Ensure high test coverage and quality standards in all deliverables

Required Skills:
Strong experience in Web Automation Testing
Proficient in Selenium, TestNG, Maven
Hands-on experience in BDD frameworks – preferably Cucumber
Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Working knowledge of AIO and Jira for test and defect management
Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket
Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Good to Have:
Prior experience in Retail domain projects
Knowledge of performance or API testing tools is a plus
