Container Platform Engineer | OpenShift & Kubernetes Infrastructure

Job Summary
BHR Code is hiring experienced Container Platform Engineers with strong expertise in enterprise container platforms, Kubernetes ecosystems, automation, and cloud infrastructure.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift, IBM Fusion, Ansible, GitLab CI/CD, Nutanix Prism Central, VMware vCenter, Shell/Bash scripting, and Python automation.

Role Overview
The Container Platform Engineer will be responsible for designing, managing, and supporting enterprise container platforms that enable scalable and reliable application deployments.
The role requires strong knowledge of container orchestration, CI/CD automation, infrastructure platforms, and enterprise virtualization technologies.
The candidate will collaborate with DevOps, infrastructure, and application teams to maintain highly available and efficient container environments.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and support enterprise container platforms.
Administer Red Hat OpenShift environments.
Support IBM Fusion platform operations.
Configure and maintain Kubernetes-based workloads.
Manage container deployment and lifecycle activities.
Implement automation using Ansible.
Support CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
Manage infrastructure integrations with Nutanix Prism Central and VMware vCenter.
Perform troubleshooting of container platform issues.
Monitor platform availability, performance, and capacity.
Support application teams with deployment requirements.
Automate operational tasks using Shell/Bash and Python scripting.
Participate in incident management and root cause analysis.
Maintain platform documentation and operational procedures.

Mandatory Skills
7–12+ years of experience in infrastructure/platform engineering.
Strong experience with:
