CA-ESP Batch Engineer

Job Summary

BHR Code is hiring an experienced CA-ESP Batch Engineer with 7–12+ years of experience in enterprise batch operations, workload automation, and production support environments.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in CA-ESP / Workload Automation, Mainframe, Windows and Linux command-line environments, troubleshooting, ServiceNow operations, and high availability/disaster recovery support.

This role focuses on managing enterprise batch workflows, resolving production issues, supporting cross-functional teams, and ensuring reliable execution of mission-critical business processes.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and support CA-ESP / Workload Automation environments.
Monitor, schedule, and troubleshoot enterprise batch jobs.
Perform job analysis, issue resolution, and recovery activities.
Troubleshoot production issues across Mainframe, Windows, and Linux environments.
Execute command-line operations and system-level troubleshooting.
Perform Mainframe navigation activities and support batch processing.
Handle ServiceNow incidents, requests, changes, and problem records.
Support High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) activities.
Coordinate with application, infrastructure, and operations teams for issue resolution.
Analyze logs and identify root causes of batch failures.
Participate in requirement discussions and translate operational needs into solutions.
Support automation initiatives using scripting and automation tools.
Contribute to observability and monitoring improvements.
Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Mandatory Skills:
7–12+ years of experience in CA-ESP Batch Operations / Workload Automation.
