Job Summary
BHR Code is hiring experienced Linux Server Patching Engineers with strong expertise in enterprise Linux patch management, vulnerability remediation, automation, and security compliance.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Linux patch deployment, RHEL/OEL patching, Ansible automation, CVE remediation, RHSA updates, and vulnerability management processes.
Role Overview
The Linux Server Patching Engineer will be responsible for managing enterprise Linux patching activities, security updates, vulnerability remediation, and infrastructure compliance.
The role requires strong knowledge of Linux administration, patch deployment processes, automation tools, and security remediation practices.
The candidate will collaborate with infrastructure, security, and operations teams to ensure Linux environments remain secure, compliant, and highly available.
Key Responsibilities
Perform Linux server patching activities across enterprise environments.
Deploy security patches and operating system updates.
Manage RHEL and Oracle Enterprise Linux (OEL) patching.
Analyse vulnerabilities and implement remediation activities.
Support CVE and RHSA remediation processes.
Automate patching activities using Ansible.
Perform patch validation and post-deployment checks.
Troubleshoot patch-related issues.
Maintain patch compliance reports and documentation.
Coordinate with security teams for vulnerability closure.
Support production change activities.
Perform root cause analysis for patch failures.
Follow IT change management processes.
Mandatory Skills
7–12+ years of experience in Linux administration and patch management.
