Rubrik Backup Engineer

Job Overview

BHR Code is hiring a Rubrik Backup Engineer with experience in enterprise backup solutions, data protection, and disaster recovery environments.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in managing Rubrik backup platforms, IBM TSM environments, cloud backup solutions, and enterprise data protection operations.

In this role, you will support backup infrastructure, improve recovery processes, monitor backup performance, and ensure business-critical data remains protected across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Backup Management
Manage and support enterprise backup environments.
Configure and maintain Rubrik backup solutions.
Support IBM TSM backup operations and administration.
Monitor backup jobs, schedules, and recovery activities.
Troubleshoot backup failures and performance issues.

Data Protection & Recovery
Implement backup and recovery best practices.
Support disaster recovery activities.
Perform backup validation and recovery testing.
Maintain backup policies and operational procedures.
Ensure data protection standards are followed.

Cloud Backup Support
Support cloud backup solutions including Azure Backup.
Manage cloud storage integration with backup platforms.
Monitor storage utilization and backup performance.
Support hybrid infrastructure backup requirements.

Operational Excellence
Analyze backup reports and performance metrics.
Improve backup efficiency and reliability.
Create technical documentation and operational reports.
Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams.
